You’ll lead a MEAN/MERN engineering team, setting technical direction across Node.js, Express, Next.js, React, and Angular services while shipping production features yourself.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical decisions across Node.js/Express, Next.js, React, and Angular codebases
- Design and consume REST APIs, applying solid HTTP and object-oriented design principles
- Own PostgreSQL and NoSQL data models for the services your team ships
- Set up and maintain automated testing platforms and unit test coverage
- Guide the team through Agile practices, code review, and independent delivery of improvements
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a senior developer or team lead across Node.js, Express.js, Next.js, React, and Angular
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficient with Git and Agile development methodologies
- Comfort optimizing output across delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop
- Nice to have: Nginx or other HTTP servers, AWS IaaS/PaaS, Docker, Heroku, DigitalOcean, Amazon S3, and microservices architecture
