Built a crowdfunding investment platform where multiple investors jointly back business opportunities and earn reward points based on their investment activity, redeemable across a network of partner businesses, connecting investment, rewards, and local commerce in one ecosystem.
The Challenge
Traditional investment platforms tend to stop at the transaction. The goal was a broader ecosystem where investors could discover and participate in business investment opportunities, invest alongside other individuals, track their portfolio, earn points through qualifying investment activity, and redeem those points with a network of partner businesses, access to benefits that extend beyond the investment itself.
We built a centralized platform connecting investors, businesses seeking funding, and partner merchants. An investment marketplace lets businesses create funding opportunities while investors browse campaigns, review details, and participate with joint investment support so multiple investors can back the same opportunity, their individual positions tracked separately within the platform. An investor dashboard surfaces contributions, investment activity, points earned, redemption history, and available rewards in one view. Underneath it, a points and rewards engine allocates points based on configurable business rules tied to investment activity, and a partner business network lets merchants join the ecosystem, list products or services, and accept points from eligible investors through a dedicated redemption platform. An admin layer gives the business team control over campaigns, investors, points, partners, transactions, rewards, and overall platform activity.
