The Challenge
UK tax filing can involve complex financial information, multiple income sources, and extensive documentation. Taxeezy wanted to turn this complexity into a faster, simpler digital filing experience tailored to each user's circumstances, intelligently collecting the right information, processing tax documents, and guiding users through preparation and submission without overwhelming them.
We designed and built a full-stack tax filing platform around an adaptive, document-aware workflow. A dynamic questionnaire adjusts each question, down to contextual sub-questions, based on the user's profession, income, and financial circumstances, while OCR extracts data from uploaded documents to cut manual entry. Socket.io keeps the filing experience live and responsive as information is collected, organized, and prepared for submission.
