The Challenge
The client needed a unified travel booking platform that could give customers access to flight and hotel inventory across multiple global distribution systems (GDS). The platform had to handle inconsistent supplier APIs, normalize inventory and pricing into a single experience, manage booking workflows end to end, and support a localized Saudi payment experience.
We designed and built a travel platform that connects multiple travel suppliers behind a single booking experience. Amadeus and Travelport were integrated to access flight and hotel inventory, availability, pricing, and booking data, with a supplier API layer that isolates provider-specific logic so existing integrations stay maintainable and new providers can be added without touching the core booking flow. On top of that unified search-to-booking experience, we integrated the client's Saudi payment merchant to support localized payment processing and currency requirements.
